Scheuten Solar has completed solar power system for a Lidl supermarket branch in Weert, the Netherlands. The 290 solar panels provide power to all cooling and freezing installations.
Scheuten Solar handled the design, delivery and installation of the array, which was
installed on the flat roof of Lidl Weert, using a lightweight aluminium substructure. In addition to the PV array, the supermarket has been fitted with energy-saving lighting and a built-in heat pump system for greater sustainability.
