Scheuten Solar Technology GmbH, a producer of crystalline solar modules, has increased its production capacity with a purchase of the Ypsator lamination line from Burkle GmbH.
With an area of 1,700 mm x 2,200 mm and six openings, the Ypsator laminator is designed for a production of 12 solar modules per cycle, according to the companies. This performance corresponds to an annual capacity of approximately 50 MW. Scheuten Solar Technology's investment, including conveying equipment, was 1.6 million euros.
