Scheuten Solar BV has provided its building-integrated PV (BIPV) modules for a solar installation on the Tour Mozart (Mozart Tower) in Paris. The company says it produced and delivered 805 custom-made modules.
The glass-glass solar modules are integrated in the roof of this building and cover the terraces above the office spaces. The support structure consists of a ‘spider system’ designed by project partner SECM, to whom Scheuten provided technical support regarding the module design. The modules, covering a total surface of 360 square meters, have an installed power output of approximately 30 kW.
