Schletter, a provider of ground-mounted solar PV mounting systems, has launched the 2.5 kW FS Kit, a new product for residential and small commercial solar applications.
The kit is based on Schletter's FS System, which is used for large ground-mounted installations. It includes all the mounting hardware needed to install the mounting structure, as well as ETL Classified grounding to UL 2703/UL1703 standards and a PE stamped permitting package for most states, with engineered performance meeting USB engineered to IBC 2006/2009 and the Ontario Building Code, where applicable, the company says.
According to Ian McCollum, director of inside sales for Schletter Inc., the FS System is the first complete ground-mount system to meet UL 2703 and UL 1703 standards.
