SCHOTT Solar PV Inc. and Dayton, Ohio-based Kastle Solar & Wind have completed two photovoltaic installations at elementary schools in Adams County, Ohio, that, combined, are expected to generate nearly 600 kW of energy.

The arrays at Peebles Elementary School and North Adams Elementary School are predicted to save approximately $40,000 per year in electricity costs, according to the companies.

The installations comprise 2,500 SCHOTT POLY 225 PV solar panels and employed Ohio-based electricians, fence contractors and installation crews. Ohio distributors provided over 100,000 feet of wire and 10,000 feet of conduit for the projects.
