Shoals Technologies Group has signed an agreement to establish a new Asia-Pacific operations and manufacturing headquarters in Xiuzhou, China.
Shoals says the facility, to be located in the Jiaxing PV High-Tech Industrial Park, will manufacture a broad line of balance of systems components for the rapidly expanding domestic Chinese market.
‘We recognize the potential and have already witnessed significant growth recently in mainland projects,’ says Dean Solon, president and CEO of Shoals Technologies Group. ‘With this new facility, we hope to not only bring our products to these future projects, but also to provide our expertise to accelerate the adoption of photovoltaics as a primary source of energy in the region.’
