Shoals Technologies Group, a Portland, Tenn.-based provider of photovoltaic balance-of-system components, says it has received ETL certification to UL 1741 for multiple 1,000 VDC smart combiner boxes with SNAPShot string-level monitoring and integrated DC disconnects.
The products are intended for commercial-scale and utility-scale PV systems, the company notes. The combiner boxes feature 12- to 32-string input, 250 A and 400 A DC disconnects, reinforced and plated bus bars, blown fuse indication and NEMA 4X enclosures.
