SIBA Fuses, a manufacturer of PV fuses, has introduced a series of new photovoltaic fuses that the company says meet the UL 2579 standard and are IEC-approved.
Models available range from 600 VDC to 1,500 VDC, and packages include both PV fuses and holders, the company notes. The fuses can be used in inverters, combiners or recombiners in a range of solar project sizes, according to SIBA Fuses.
