SiC Processing AG, which recycles slurry used during the wafering process in the photovoltaic and semiconductor industries, has completed a new production line in Heroya, Norway. The line has an annual capacity of 11 tons.

REC placed the order for this line in March 2008, and engineering and construction were completed two months earlier than scheduled, notes SiC Processing. By the end of 2009, four new production lines are scheduled to be commissioned in Heroya. These lines will have a total capacity of 45 tons per year.
