Siemens Energy has received an order for the turnkey construction of three photovoltaic plants in Italy from Viridis Energia, a joint venture between Echidna SPA and La.G.I. SRL.
With a combined rating of 3 MW, the three solar power plants will be built in the Marche region, between the provinces of Macerata and Ancona.
As the general contractor, Siemens is responsible for the turnkey construction, engineering and project management of the photovoltaic power plants. The scope of supply includes as inverters, medium-voltage equipment and monitoring systems. Each plant will be equipped with 5,400 solar panels.
