Signal Transformer says construction has started on a 129 kW solar photovoltaic system to be installed at its facility in Inwood, N.Y. Once completed, the rooftop solar energy system is expected to produce the majority of the facility's annual electricity needs.
Installer EnterSolar is providing engineering and construction services for the project. Signal says the PV array, which should be completed in August, is being facilitated by N.Y. Gov. Andrew Cuomo's NY-Sun Initiative.
