Silicon Ranch Corp., a start-up owned by former Tennessee governor Phil Bredesen, is developing a 30 MW solar array on property owned by Nashville songwriter and music executive Steve Ivey.
The Tennesseean reports that the project's output will be sold to Georgia Power Co. The power purchase agreement is expected to receive final approval next week. Germany-based Phoenix Solar will provide ‘technical assistance,’ the paper says.
