Sky Solar, a global solar power station investor and operator, says its Japanese subsidiary Sky Solar Japan has achieved successful grid-connection of two PV power stations located at Otsuka-cho, Tochigi Prefecture, Honshu Island, and Kamishihoro-cho, Hokkaido.
These two solar projects total approximately 2.3 MW, with an annual generation capacity estimated to be 2,528,000 kWh. Both are entitled to receive Japan's feed-in tariff of 42 yen/kWh over 20 years.
In all, Sky Solar Japan has a total of 10 MW under construction in Japan. An additional four projects are expected to come online in the next few months.
