skytron energy has completed the installation of its supervision system for a 117 kW solar photovoltaic power plant in Kuwait, billed as the country's first.
Abu Dhabi-based Enviromena Power Systems is developing the facility at the behest of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity and Water. Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corp. is supplying its 250 kW solar inverter for the project.
skytron says the Kuwaiti electricity and water ministry views the project as a demonstration of PV potential in the country.
