SMA has launched a new Web version of its Sunny Design software for installers and solar professionals. According to the company, Sunny Design Web offers the same features as its existing desktop software and includes additional enhancements in a free (with registration), easy-to-use Web format.
Sunny Design was previously available as desktop software for download, and will still be available as a desktop application. The new Web version makes the program accessible for Mac and tablet users as well as PC users and is optimized for use with mobile devices.
Current users who want to switch to the Web version can import projects from Sunny Design 2.0 into Sunny Design Web, SMA adds. Accessibility and workflow of the program will remain similar to Sunny Design 2.0.
