Snake Tray, a manufacturer of cable management and power distribution products, has introduced Snake Nuts, a new fastener that is designed to reduce labor time.
According to the company, Snake Nuts eliminates the time-consuming method of running hex nuts up a threaded rod. Instead, users can insert the Snake Nut onto the threaded rod and tighten it into place with a set screw. Once locked into place, Snake Nut can hold up to 9,000 pounds, Snake Tray notes.
Snake Nuts are available in 3/8′, 1/2′ and 5/8′ sizes in order to accommodate all standard threaded rods.
