Solar Company Sungevity Expands Into The Northeast

California-based solar integrator Sungevity says it has expanded its residential solar leasing program and associated Rooftop Revolution marketing program to five Northeast states.

According to the company, the Rooftop Revolution campaign will continue in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts and Delaware through Sept. 4. The centerpiece of the campaign is a biodiesel- and solar-powered ‘ice-pop truck’ that travels to music festivals, farmers markets, minor league baseball games and other events to engage consumers in dialogues about solar energy and the company's $0 down solar lease program.

The first phase of the Rooftop Revolution campaign began on July 1, with a large marketing program on Amtrak's Acela high-speed rail line in the Northeast.
