China-based SNEC PV Power Expo, Italy-based Solarexpo and U.S.-based Solar Power International have formed the Global Solar Alliance (GSA).
The GSA plans to create a global network of solar trade events and conferences for the worldwide development of the solar market, foster collaboration and exchange of information among the professional community, and raise consciousness of the benefits of solar to the general public and political decision-makers.
Combined, the annual shows of the three founding members feature 500,000 square meters of exhibition space, 5,000 exhibitors and 300,000 attendees, the groups note.
