Solar Energy Initiatives Inc., with businesses in solar project development, distribution and workforce training, says its SNRY Solar Inc. division has been approved to open its solar technical training school in South Carolina.
The Solar Installer School, developed and facilitated by Solar EOS – a wholly owned subsidiary of Solar Energy Initiatives Inc. – will be added to the South Carolina Workforce Investment's Eligible Training Provider list.
The Solar Installer School was designed to train prospective solar installers in classroom theory and design and to provide them with extensive hands-on experiential learning. Its eight-week course provides 200 hours of classroom and field education, with over 30 hours of hands-on training in solar thermal and photovoltaics.
