Solar Frontier says it will supply GE with its proprietary copper indium selenium (CIS) thin-film solar modules. In return, GE will act as a consultant to the development of Solar Frontier's CIS technology for use in utility-scale solar installations.
The modules will be manufactured by Solar Frontier at the company's production plant in Miyazaki, Japan, and they will be incorporated into GE's utility-scale solar projects.
