Japan-based thin-film PV module manufacturer Solar Frontier has signed a distribution agreement with Mainstream Energy to sell and install 5 MW of Solar Frontier's modules beginning in the fourth quarter of this year.
According to the companies, the agreement provides Solar Frontier with a significant presence throughout the U.S.
The copper indium selenide thin-film modules that will be used in the distribution agreement will be produced with Solar Frontier's proprietary technology in Miyazaki, Japan.
