Tokyo-headquartered Solar Frontier has opened a new office in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. According to the company, this office will team with Solar Frontier's partners in the region and further develop its presence in the Middle East, a priority market for the company.
Solar Frontier adds that it is already involved in a number of projects in Saudi Arabia, including a 10 kW King Abdullah University of Science and Technology installation, a 500 kW power plant supplying Farasan Island's remotely installed and grid connected power plant, and a 10 MW North Park Project with Saudi Aramco, which is due to come online by the end of the year.Â
