O2 emc has selected Solar Frontier, a provider of copper-indium-selenium thin-film solar technology, to supply equipment for a 4 MW PV project in North Carolina.
The $10 million Tolson solar plant will be located in Edgecombe County, N.C., and be equipped with over 24,000 Solar Frontier modules and Exosun's Exotrack HZ single-axis trackers. The project will generate almost 7 GWh of energy annually.
‘We selected Solar Frontier based on their solar module's strong performance [and] quality,’ says Joel Olsen, CEO of O2 emc. ‘That is in alignment with the high construction standards we maintain.’
O2 emc is an independent power producer headquartered near Charlotte, N.C.
