Solar Frontier Americas, a subsidiary of Showa Shell, has named Greg Ashley vice president and chief operating officer (COO) to oversee the commercialization of the company's copper indium sulfide thin-film solar technology in the U.S. market.
A 30-year veteran of the energy sector, Ashley is focused on building a team to scale the company's business in the U.S. He joins Solar Frontier from Canadian Solar, where he served as president of the U.S. division. Prior to his work at Canadian Solar, Ashley served as senior manager of strategic business development at SunEdison.
