Solar Land Bank LLC, a San Francisco-based developer of turnkey sites for renewable energy power generators, has launched a solar energy site database. The database is designed to serve as a one-stop resource for energy production companies looking for sites that are available for the construction of solar PV developments.
The database contains detailed site information, allowing users to view differing site characteristics, such as location, property size, permitting status and leasing/acquisition terms. The database contains both raw land sites and large rooftop opportunity sites. Unique to this database are solar properties that have been acquired directly by Solar Land Bank and are available to energy generating companies for sale or lease, the company adds.
In addition, Solar Land Bank has rolled out project site control consulting services. This new service provides site development capabilities from initial screening-level analysis of environmental and permitting issues of a particular geographic area, to full project site development, including obtaining local, state, and federal permits and environmental clearances, negotiating utility interconnection at the distribution or transmission line level and real estate site acquisition.
