Solar Nation Inc., based in Portland, Ore., has installed and commissioned an 876 kW solar electric system on the Sunham Home Fashions Distribution Center in New Providence, N.J.
The 130,000 square-foot system was designed, engineered and installed by Solar Nation. It comprises 3,575 SolarWorld 245 W solar panels, manufactured in the U.S., as well as two SMA America inverters and a Draker Laboratories Web-based monitoring system.
The installation is expected to meet 100% of Sunham's electricity needs.
