Solar Panels Plus, a designer and manufacturer of solar water heaters, solar air conditioning/heating systems and photovoltaic solar panels, has launched the SPP-30a evacuated-tube collector for solar water heaters.
According to Solar Panels Plus, the SPP-30a complies with the Buy American Act section of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
Like its predecessor, the SPP-30, the U.S.-made SPP-30a will utilize a double-wall glass tube. The SPP-30a works well in environments where water temperatures up to or above 200 degrees F are needed, or in cloudy climate conditions, the company explains.
