Solar Thin Films Inc. has received an order from Grupo Unisolar SA to build a 5 MW turnkey photovoltaic module manufacturing plant. The facility, which will be based in Spain and manufacture thin-film a-Si modules, will be sold to Grupo Unisolar for an aggregate purchase price of $12.3 million.
In connection with the sale of the plant, the company also agreed to provide certain installation and testing services to Grupo Unisolar.
