Solar Universe, a Livermore, Calif.-headquartered provider of residential and small-business solar installations, has raised $7 million in Series B funding, led by RockPort Capital Partners with returning founding investors. Proceeds from the financing will be used to expand Solar Universe's business into new geographies and product offerings.
The company also announced that it has added Kevin Daughtery as executive vice president of operations and Laurie Anthony Baggio as chief development officer.
