SolarBridge Technologies, a developer of integrated PV micro-inverters, says its Pantheon micro-inverter has passed all tests required under the UL 1741 safety standard for photovoltaic inverters, as certified by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA).
The SolarBridge Pantheon micro-inverter is attached to the back of solar modules to create an integrated AC module. It is the first integrated micro-inverter backed by a 25-year warranty to achieve UL 1741 certification, according to the company.
The SolarBridge Pantheon passed all tests as required under UL 1741 and CSA C22.2 No 107.1, which includes utility-interface requirements under IEEE 1547. Additional testing on the micro-inverter and AC cabling used with AC PV modules included environmental evaluations under UL 1703. The AC connectors were also subjected to mechanical testing, including impact at -35 degrees C.Â
