SolarCity Corp. and MMA Renewable Ventures have completed a 394 kW solar power system at Montna Farms in Yuba City, Calif. Covering 92,000 square feet of unused land at its rice dryer facility, the array will generate 725,000 kWh of electricity annually.
MMA Renewable Ventures, which owns and operates the system, worked with Montna Farms, Siemens Building Technologies and SolarCity to develop the project. The system features 1,970 BP Solar photovoltaic modules and uses a Wattsun single-axis tracking system made by Array Technologies.
