SolarEdge Technologies, a solar power harvesting provider, and Flextronics, a global electronics manufacturing services provider, have announced that SolarEdge has selected Flextronics as its global manufacturing partner for high-volume production of SolarEdge's distributed PV power-harvesting and monitoring systems.
The announcement follows six months of close collaboration between the two companies on preparing dedicated production lines located at Flextronics' factory for the mass production of SolarEdge systems, the companies note. Production commenced last quarter and is expected to reach an annual capacity of 200 MW.
