The Davos Congress Center in Switzerland has received the first phase of a 340 kW photovoltaic system. The location is currently hosting the World Economic Forum's annual meeting.
Installed by EES Jaggi Bigler AG and Amstein + Walthert AG, the 172 kW installation on the roof of the conference center and swimming hall building includes 625 SolarEdge power optimizers and 11 SolarEdge SE17k inverters.
According to SolarEdge, the module-based power conversion systems enabled the installers to place PV modules on the atrium roof, which would not have been possible with a traditional inverter.
