SolarEdge Technologies, a solar power harvesting start-up, has appointed Zvi Lando vice president of global sales. In this capacity, Lando will direct worldwide sales efforts for the company.
Lando joins SolarEdge from Applied Materials, where he served as vice president and general manager of the Baccini Cell Systems Solar Business Group.
Lando began his Applied Materials tenure in 1993 as a process engineer on semiconductor chemical vapor deposition equipment. Along the way, he has held management positions in technology, customer service, marketing, sales and general management.
