SolarFrameWorks Co., a manufacturer and developer of building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) and field-integrated solar electric systems and projects, has introduced PowerCurb.
PowerCurb is an addition to the company's CoolPly Plus BIPV product line for commercial roofs and field applications. PowerCurb modular units nest, stack and ship economically as a complete solution for several membrane roof types, the company says.
The product has been engineered to satisfy high wind loads and snow loads and meets seismic categories 1-4 on low-rise and high-rise buildings, according to SolarFrameWorks. Its proprietary design combines a lightweight polymer framing system with a skirting of membrane roofing material.
