SOLARHOT, a manufacturer of solar energy products in Morrisville, N.C., says its Platinum Series solar hot water collectors will be manufactured in its North Carolina facility.
By manufacturing the solar collectors in North Carolina, SOLARHOT has expanded its offering of products that meet the requirements of the Made in America provision of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The Platinum Series collectors feature all copper absorbers, blue sputtered absorber coating, eleven copper risers, polyurethane insulation and low-iron solar glass. They are available in three sizes: 4' x 6.5', 4' x 8' and 4' x 10'.
