Solarschmiede GmbH, a software company based in Munich, Germany, has developed PVscout 1.9, software designed to optimize energy yield and profitability of photovoltaic plants. The company plans to showcase the product at the upcoming Intersolar conference in Munich.
PVscout 1.9 features a comprehensive database and clear display options that guide the user automatically through individual planning steps, the company says. It is especially well suited for manufacturers of mounting systems and inverters as well as for installers, solar engineers and planners. PVscout 1.9 contains a database with more than 5,000 solar modules and more than 600 inverters, as well as European climate data.
The full version of PVscout 1.9 is available in German and English at Solarschmiede's online shop for 299 euros. The software will be available at an Intersolar discount price of 210 euros from June 9 to June 18. Users of the previous version, PVscout 1.8, can upgrade their software to the new version for 15 euros.
