Solarsense UK Ltd. has inaugurated a 200 kW PV plant on the cowhouse of the Worthy Farm in Glastonbury, England. According to Sputnik Engineering AG, which supplied its SolarMax inverters for the project, this is the largest private solar plant in Britain.
The farm grounds are used as a venue for Europe's largest open-air music festival, attended by approximately 200,000 guests from all over the world. Two SolarMax TS series central inverters convert the direct current from more than 1,100 solar modules into grid-compliant alternating current.
