The Solar & Energy Workforce Trends & Opportunities symposium, organized by SolarTech, will be held Oct. 1 at De Anza College in Cupertino, Calif.
Solar industry leaders, training organizations and economic experts will chart the course for the workforce development needs in the industry over the next three years. Attendees can learn general economic trends and projections for the solar industry and find out where to recruit and how to prepare for their organization's future workforce needs, according to the organizers.
Symposium subject-matter experts will discuss how the rapid expansion of photovoltaic markets poses great challenges to the PV industry in meeting workforce needs.
