Germany-based Solarwatt AG has released the Energy Solution start kit, which includes the company's Energy Manager and Energy Portal products.
The Energy Manager is designed to integrate solar energy into the energy system of a house, and captures and analyzes data on the solar power system, as well as energy consumption in the household, with precision down to the second. Controlled at any time online via PC, tablet or smartphone, the unit independently starts devices at favorable times according to individual preferences and thereby effectively optimizes the energy consumption, the company explains.
The Energy Manager uses the Energy Portal for secure data storage and for the visualization of the captured data from both the solar power system and the consumption in the household. The Energy Solution offers a variety of interfaces that allow the customer to incorporate both major energy consumers, such as heat pumps, and minor consumers, such as a laptop battery.
Solarwatt adds that it plans to introduce a lithium ion phosphate-based storage product mid-year to complement the Energy Solution.
