Solectria Renewables has introduced a line of residential grid-tie photovoltaic inverters – the PVI 3000, PVI 4000, PVI 5000 and PVI 5300 models. The product line has a rated California Energy Commission efficiency of 96%, which the company says is the highest figure for transformer-isolated inverters.
To improve ease of installation, these inverters were designed based on the recommendations and requirements of top industry professionals, Solectria Renewables says. New features include a quick-mount wall bracket, built-in DC disconnect and fused PV combiner.
‘These high-efficiency products will help our residential customers receive better rebates leading to a larger return on investment,’ says Aybike Crott, operations manager of Solectria Renewables. ‘The new inverters also offer the standard features and high-quality construction that members of the industry demand.’
All four models also include the following standard features: universal 240 V AC and 208 V AC operation; transformer isolation; PC software with RS232 and RS485 communication ports; low profile, all-aluminum NEMA 3R outdoor-rated rainproof enclosure; 10-year warranty; and certification to the latest UL 1741/IEEE 1547 standard.
