Solectria is delivering 32.5 MW of its PVI 20TL and PVI 28TL three-phase, transformerless inverters to Safari Energy for a nationwide rollout of PV projects for several large, national landlords.
Safari Energy selected a distributed method for the PV systems in order to reduce upfront and long-term costs, increase energy production, and preserve system uptime. The developer provides solar energy solutions for large, commercial real estate owners and national real estate investment trusts.
Each project in the portfolio will be commissioned by the end of the year. Together, the projects are anticipated to generate over 1 billion kWh – enough to power almost 100,000 residential homes and remove 700,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
