SolFocus says that chief operating officer (COO) Bob Legendre has been promoted to the position of president and COO, reporting to CEO Mark Crowley. In his new, expanded position, Legendre will oversee a broad range of activities, including manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, deployment, field support and product quality.
As the COO, Legendre led SolFocus' engineering organization and finalized the company's product realization and product certification for deployment in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and North America.
Prior to his work at SolFocus, Legendre was executive vice president of PowerWave. He also held senior positions with InFocus and Western Digital, where he managed operations in southeast Asia.
