Solimpeks, based in Karatay, Turkey, says one of its installations is now operating at Blue Waters Hotel in Turkey.
The project, which provides hotel guests with up to 100,000 liters of hot water per day, used the company's 300 Wunder CLS Premium collectors featuring 4-mm-thick low-iron tempered glass and a 0.12-mm-thick titanium-coated selective absorber surface.
The installation also included two double pumps, two expansion tanks and boilers where hot water can be stored at up to 100 degrees C in the afternoon hours. Solimpeks worked with Seiso Engineering to install the system on a concrete roof. The company says the system has a payback time of 29 months.
