Solis Partners LLC, an integrator of commercial solar power systems, has been awarded a contract by Public Service Electric and Gas Co. (PSE&G) to design, engineer and construct a 921 kW system on its Central Electric Division headquarters facility in Somerset, N.J.
The Somerset project is part of the PSE&G Solar 4 All Program. During the next several years, PSE&G will invest approximately $515 million to install 80 MW of solar energy that helps New Jersey meet its renewable energy goal. PSE&G will own and operate the system, as well as the associated environmental attributes.
Solis says it will design its system to incorporate both crystalline PV panels and Solyndra PV panels for the flat areas of the roof.
