Code Environmental Services, a Carteret, N.J.-based environmental and hazardous waste remediation firm, has inaugurated a 220 kW rooftop solar PV system at its corporate headquarters.
Designed, engineered and constructed by Manasquan, N.J.-based Solis Partners, the system is expected to offset approximately 70% of Code Environmental's electricity consumption, according to Solis Partners.
Built with 1,104 solar modules, the array will produce approximately 250,000 kWh of electricity in the first year of operation.
