Solis Partners LLC, a Manasquan, N.J.-based full-service integrator of commercial solar power systems, has completed the fourth of six installations for Norkus Enterprises, operator of Foodtown supermarkets in Monmouth and Ocean counties in New Jersey.
Designed, engineered and constructed by Solis Partners, the systems consist of approximately 2,700 Solyndra solar panels. The systems' ability to cover more rooftop area and capture more light than traditional flat-plated panels will result in more annual solar electricity generation, the company says.
All specified roof design, preparation and installation required prior to the solar deployment were performed by L.R. Watts & Sons Roofing, based in Perth Amboy N.J.
