Solis Partners, a developer and integrator of commercial solar power systems, has been awarded a turnkey contract for a rooftop solar PV system at one of Phillips-Van Heusen Corp.'s (PVH) main administrative offices.
PVH, an apparel company, will install a 154.2 kW on-site solar power generation system on the roof of its office building at 1001 Frontier Road in Bridgewater, N.J. The system will consist of 890 Solyndra solar panels and will produce approximately 180 MWh of electricity in the first year of operation, according to Solis Partners.
Construction is expected to begin in April.
