SolMarket Develops SolPurchase Group Buying Program For Installers

0

SolMarket, a wholly owned subsidiary of renewable energy credit aggregator Sol Systems, has launched SolPurchase, a group purchasing program for solar projects that is designed to reduce solar equipment costs and simplify the equipment procurement process.

According to the company, SolPurchase brings the benefit of buying in scale to the solar space for developers and installers that may not be large enough to procure high volumes of equipment independently. SolMarket says it is partnering with solar panel manufacturers and others to purchase equipment in large quantities and bring significant cost savings to its installer and developer partner network.Â

SolMarket partners can then use SolPurchase to significantly reduce the costs of installation, because equipment costs can constitute more than half of solar project costs, the company adds.
