SOLON Corp. has introduced the SOLON Velocity MWTM Solar System, which provides preconfigured 1 MW modular solar fields that can scale to capacity in as little as four months, according to the company.
The Velocity MW Solar System is packaged in 1 MW clusters that are standardized to reduce the number of system components, with a proportional reduction in field installation labor. The Velocity MW preconfigured designs help accelerate plant permitting and site development, SOLON notes. In addition, the system provides a centralized, collocated power conversion for the inverter and step-up transformer, leading to faster field assembly.
